How will I know what to do with my placenta?

All instructions on how to handle your placenta post birth will be provided to you.

How do I transport my placenta?

The encapsulation fee includes a cooler that will be mailed to you ahead of time.

What services are included in the encapsulation?

Placenta Encapsulation process will include picking up the placenta, and processing it utilizing the Traditional Chinese Method. This will take place within 2-4 days post-birth. All safety guidelines will be followed.

Each package will include a postpartum check in during the delivery.

Is there any reason my placenta could NOT be encapsulated?

Placenta encapsulation cannot be done for the the following reasons: the entire placenta is sent to pathology (request they take a small sample), if the birther or baby show signs of infection during labor or immediate postpartum, if placenta is stored improperly, or if the birther has a blood borne virus such as Hepatitis B, C, or HIV
